How does the Latvian Fund for Nature use the proceeds from the shop?
We use the proceeds to restore and maintain meadows, wetlands, forests and other ecosystems. More about our projects: www.ldf.lv/en/projects
Do I make a donation when I buy products?
The proceeds from each purchase are used for the protection and restoration of Latvia's nature.
Can I donate without making a purchase?
Yes, you can make a donation to the Latvian Fund for Nature at any time. Here you will find information on how to make a donation: www.ldf.lv/en/donate-for-nature-conservation
How can I be sure that my support to the Latvian Fund for Nature is used for the purposes indicated?
The Latvian Fund for Nature is a public benefit organisation that can use its income only for nature conservation purposes. The Latvian Fund for Nature prepares an annual report each year, which shows how its financial resources have been used. They are can be found here
What is the Square Metre of Natural Grassland?
It is a donation for the restoration of the natural meadow that Latvian Fund for Nature is carrying out in "Lejzemnieki" in Valka municipality – a 19 ha woodmeadow is being restored there. Experts have calculated that EUR 15 is the amount for which 1m2 of natural meadow can be restored - the amount includes seeds for meadow plants, soil preparation, seed sowing, meadow management and expert work.
After making your donation, you will receive a card with proof of your donation and the coordinates of the square metre of meadow - so you can visit your square metre of meadow!
Please note that no ownership rights are acquired by donating.
The product I want to buy is no longer available. Will it be available later?
Some items are only available in small quantities in our shop and we do not usually re-produce them. These products are uniquely designed for various Latvian Fund for Nature projects, and we plan production orders to avoid stock-outs as much as possible.

Ordering and payment
How to place an order?
Simply add the items to your basket, proceed to the payment section and follow the instructions to complete your purchase.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit cards, bank transfers and the online payment systems Google Pay and Apple Pay.
Delivery and collection
How will I receive my purchase?
We will deliver your purchase in the way you choose – to your chosen Omniva parcel machine or you can collect it at the Latvian Fund for Nature office in Riga, Blaumaņa iela 32-8 (we will contact you when the item is in our office).
What are the delivery costs?
If you choose Omniva delivery, the delivery cost of parcels within Latvia is 2.49 EUR (incl. VAT) for any parcel size up to 39 x 38 x 64 cm and weighing up to 30kg.
If you choose to collect your purchase at the Latvian Fund for Nature office in Riga, Blaumaņa iela 32-8 – it is free of charge.
Do you deliver purchases outside Latvia?
No, currently delivery is only possible within Latvia.
How long will it take me to receive my purchase?
Standard delivery time is 7-10 working days. In exceptional cases, when the production of the product is delayed, delivery may take a few days longer - we will inform you about this.
Returns and exchanges
Can I return or exchange an item?
Yes, you can return or exchange goods within 14 days if they are unused and in their original packaging. The exception is the Square Metre of Natural Meadow - this cannot be returned or exchanged for another product.
What if my order is damaged?
Please contact us immediately with photos of the damaged order. We will arrange a replacement or provide a refund.
