The design features wetland birds illustrated in pencil technique by artist Zane Rubene – inhabitants of the bogs, floodplain grasslands, and reed beds of Latvia and Lithuania.
Alongside the more familiar crane and corncrake, the T-shirt also depicts rarer species such as the common redshank, great bittern, great snipe and spotted crake. Each of them is part of the wetlands’ story – landscapes that still support rich bird diversity and deserve to be preserved.
