Light scarf "Touch of Meadow”
Light scarf "Touch of Meadow”
The idea for this scarf came to us on a hot August day while we were collecting seeds from meadow plants to sow in our city’s meadows.
The scarf is truly as light as a touch of the meadow. On hot days, it will protect you from the sun, but you can just as easily tie it around your neck or attach it to your bag –it will be an elegant accent to your style. It can also be used for gathering herbs or seeds! Just like furoshiki – the Japanese art of wrapping –you can transform a beautifully printed scarf into a small bundle, a tablecloth, or a fashion accessory.
The design was created by the young, talented artist Laura Lukeviča. The scarf’s main “hero” is the wild carrot – a very beautiful plant that thrives in city meadows and is a favorite of various insects.
This scarf is available in a limited quantity. By purchasing it you will support the creation of urban meadows in Riga, helping to create a more natural and greener environment for pollinators and the city.
